In Term 2 we were invited by the Board to put forward ideas to encourage a more peaceful and fun playground at CBS.  

We came up with two sets of ideas. One for creative game ideas that could be painted onto playground surfaces.  

Secondly, fun and unique equipment that could be added to our Year 0-1 playground.

As part of our journey students employed statistics to help them make decisions about what were the most popular ideas in their class and across the team.  

The games they created encouraged fitness, tested this when we explored our ideas.  

We talked and wrote about our ideal playground designs, our favourite playground games and rules for playgrounds.

Using our think tower we explored playgrounds and playground games, used thinking tools and organisers to help us shape our ideas, evaluated our ideas and created a solution that we felt would make a difference to the enjoyment students will get from our CBS playgrounds.  The Chairman of the Board will be visiting our classroom in Week 3, Term 3 to hear our proposals. We are VERY EXCITED!!!
