LET US ENTERTAIN YOU!!!


We were invited to provide entertainment at our Campbells Bay School Family Fun Fair Night 2011.  Room 3 chose to create an 'Family Fun Area' for friends and family to visit.

Although our work had an arts focus and working as a team (Health), who we are (Social Sciences), oral, visual and written language (English) , zone designs (Technology), what we know (including past topics such Science in our StarDome), and movement and coordination in our Dance Zone and games (P.E) were all areas of the curriculum we drew on to create our Family Fun Area.

PROCESS
We selected our audience
Chose activities that audience would find entertaining
Created our entertainment zones
Practised being hosts
Advertised to our audience
Held our Entertainment Evening
Reflected on what we might improve next time


To invite our friends and family to attend our Entertainment Zone we created a video that we played through our daily notices and a card that we sent home that linked to our website....






We really enjoyed seeing the smiles on the faces of our friends and family and to leave you with a smile, each child has chosen a joke they wanted from a selection of jokes and recorded this on the flip camera.
