The Maths Programme

Maths is taught daily but maths books may not be used each day.
Guided Maths Groups takes place 4 days a week with students being seen between 2 and 4 times a week. 
Mathletics takes place once a week in our ICT time.  Your child will belong to a Mathletics group that completes teacher set activities aimed at their maths stage. 
Although students may have completed an activity at 100%, the activity will be re-set if they need to be quicker with recalling this knowledge. 
 Your child will move into the next programme based on assessment information. 
Mathletics is also part of the independent rotation for maths that takes place during Guided Maths Groups.
Mathletics can be completed at home by using the student log in.  These are glued into your child’s Reading Diary.
