We are having a great term. We have been learning about myths and legends. We will be writing our own and turning them into puppet plays later on in the term.

We have been busy creating our own fantastical beasts.

Serpentina.

It is a fierce female serpent with the ability to breathe fire. It has a sharp gold horn for inflicting piercing wounds which can only be healed by the serpents own spit.

It has two shining gold wings mounted on its ocean blue back. Its scales if pressed to a corpse’s forehead can bring him or her back to life. Unless the being is dead because of the mystical Serpentina!

It has a gleaming gold forked tongue which it uses to strangle its main diet of baby hippos. She is friends of the snakes and has the ability to call them to her power.

When they are first born they are emerald green and slowly fade into blue. As she grows older she grows silver hairs from her chin. The babies hatch out of eggs in the water so they love swimming.

She lours men to dance with her. The men shall get very weak and die eventually. She has big wings that flap out purple fire. Their eyes are ruby red. When men stare into their eyes they turn into a red racing flame.  They have the most ruby red skin ever. She has a beautiful red dress. She blends in with red fire and you will only ever see her when there is a fire. He lives in the desert.  She represents the devil, a ghost and a flame.

The Rompusauras is a mighty creature. It is the size of the tallest redwood tree in the world. It is half rhino and half dinosaur. It has wings as wide as the harbour bridge and shoots out laser whenever someone gets near. It turns invisible when it needs to hunt its prey and can run or fly at 6,000 kilometres a second. It can never die and if it gets shot or stabbed it just reheals itself in 2 seconds. It has plasma vision eyes and it can set itself on fire when it needs to. He carries a sword and when he points the sword at someone or something it fires out a blast of lightning that could kill someone in 1 second. He has razor fangs and teeth as sharp as a shiny diamond. His head is brown with 3 eyes that are as scary as an orca rushing right at you. His muscles are as big as 2 adults standing on top of each other. His has bold, stiff legs as strong as ruby. It has a huge 6 pack on his stomach that is as strong as a turtle’s shell. His hands are as huge as a soccer goal and are so powerful that it can crush a hotel in a millisecond. It hurls out fire balls twice as hot as the sun and as big as a forest. Its nostrils can sense something 20 million miles away. He has massive horns on the top of his head that are brown and strong. They shoot out a ball of burning blue fire if he is near his prey to kill it or if someone is near  him and he thinks that you are going to attack him. His whole skin is brown or black and is as tough as metal. His mouth is as large as a whirlpool and is can suck up a whole building easily.  He is a bald creature and is as ugly as a person being splattered in mud. You have to take his sword and chop it up into a million pieces with the strongest diamond ever.

The Platysnake is half platypus and half snake. He has a powerful stick at the end of his tail and when he is throwing a tantrum he whacks it on the ground which causes a rumbling earthquake. He is as long as a computer keyboard and his stick is as strong as the bottom of the Sky tower. He  when it’s windy he gets happier so he whistles like a kettle , that is why when it’s windy you can hear whistling. He has a fluffy platypus head and a scaly snake body. No one has ever been able to train the stubborn Platysnake because he is as vicious as a grumpy lion. He has fangs as sharp as a pointy cheese knife so if something or someone tries to attack it he bites them and fills their body with poison that could kill them in less than 3 seconds. He always hides in a nearby cave when he senses something. He eats pineapple lumps and bananas. But beware don’t feed him!
