Homework
Reading
Please help your child to read every evening and fill in their reading log at the back of their homework book. It would be great if the children could read to you, you read to them and at times for them to read independently.
Maths Basic Facts
The children have coloured in the stage that they are learning. They need to practise these problems so that they can learn them, ready to be tested on Friday.
Spelling
The children have written eight words from the Essential Lists and two words form their own writing. Please help your child learn these. A good way is to say the words copy it, check it and copy it again, cover and try to spell the word.
Homework is due back on Thursday each week.
Readers Coming Home
Please note that not all children will bring readers home every day. Remember children can read the Reading Counts books as well.
Please look for the book in your child's book bag and help them read the book. Thank you.
